How to take care of leather goods (Original practical guide)

First of all, please make it clear that the better and more expensive leather goods do not mean the stronger and more durable. On the contrary, the better leather goods require careful use and maintenance. Only by doing so, the color, luster, and shape of leather goods can be maintained for a long time, thereby maintaining the texture and taste of the leather goods.
Natural leather is mainly affected by wind and sun, dust pollution, rain, ultra-low temperature, and excessive dryness. Those factors make The leather becomes hard and the color fades;
But how to take care of leather goods?

- (A): Wipe off the moisture and dirt on the leather with a dry towel, clean it up with a leather cleaner, and then apply a layer of leather brightener. This will make the leather always soft and comfortable;
- (B): Please do not overload leather goods and avoid damage caused by friction with rough and sharp objects. Avoid exposing, burning, or squeezing in the hot sun. Do not approach flammable products. Keep the accessories away from damp and close to acidic materials. Please use a soft cloth to wipe them frequently to avoid scratches, dirt, and deterioration.
- (C) : The leather has strong absorption, so it should be protected against dirt, especially for high-grade frosted leather. If there are stains on the leather, wipe it with a clean damp cotton cloth moistened with warm detergent, and then let it dry naturally. You can try the detergent out in an inconspicuous corner before formal use.
- (D): If the leather is wrinkled, it can be ironed with an iron, and the temperature can be controlled between 60-70℃. When ironing, use a thin cotton cloth as a lining ironing cloth and move the iron constantly.
- (E): If the leather loses its luster, it can be polished with leather polish. Don’t wipe it with shoe polish. Generally polish one time in about half a year, it can maintain the softness and luster of the leather and prolong its service life.
- (F): Leather is better to use frequently and wiped with a fine flannel. If you encounter rain, dampness, or mildew, use a soft dry cloth to wipe off water stains or mildew. If there is a drink on the leather, immediately use a clean cloth or sponge to absorb it, and wipe it with a damp cloth to let it dry naturally. Do not use a hairdryer to dry it. If it is stained with grease, it can be wiped with a dry cloth, and the rest will be naturally dissipated or cleaned with detergent. Never scrub with water.
- (G): Leather goods should not be baked with fire or exposed to the sun directly, which will cause deformation, cracking, and discoloration of the leather.
- (H): Leather goods should be wiped with leather care liquid. But it should be noted that it is different due to the different leather type. It is best to ask about the leather type before using it, and then apply the care liquid to the bottom or inner side of the bag to test whether it is applicable.
- When the leather is suede (deerskin, suede, etc.), use a soft animal brush to remove it. Usually, this kind of leather goods will spread and be difficult to remove because of the oily juice, so it is best to stay away from subsidiary things such as chewing gum or candy. When removing this type of leather, be sure to wipe it gently to prevent the bag from turning white and leaving marks.
- (I): Patent leather is prone to cracks, so special care must be taken when using it. Usually, just wipe it with a soft cloth like a handkerchief. Finally, we will tell you the easiest and most convenient maintenance method, which is to buy a bottle of Pledge, clean and polish two in one, and wipe it once a month. In addition, note that it is best to place packing such as newspaper balls in the bag when storing, keep the original shape of the bag, and avoid squeezing.
